Ann Coulter has legs and so does this book. Read the book before everyone else does. You'll never laugh at Coulter quite the same way again.
UPROARIOUS... is the one word that I will use to acknowledge D. B. Gilles’ “Unauthorized Parody” of the quintessential Ann Coulter. As a Conservative, I admit that D.B. Gilles had me falling off of my chair in full belly howls and laughs. His wit and style is so incisive it is at times almost unbearably hilarious. This is the stand-up D.B. Gilles’ comic style extravagantly laid out in the funniest book; a treasure that I have read in a decade. Whether you are an Ann Coulter fan, or you hate her, you have to get this book. Each chapter will leave you laughing.
Whatever your political affiliation, this book will make you laugh. Each entry is a delicious bite of parody. I'm still giggling weeks after reading it. Enjoy!
Turnabout is fair play, as they say.
This author has come up with an completely original way to mock one of America's most notorious talking heads. Frankly, I can't stand any of these egotistical, self-appointed political commentators -(conservative or liberal) so it's always refreshing to see somebody take them down a peg.
I loved this book because it made me smile, giggle and at times, do spit-takes onto my computer screen. Thank you so much for giving me something I can actually laugh about!
In a time when the press lays bare the past of everyone in the limelight, somehow Ann Coulter has gotten a pass. Must be because the press is so right-wing. So we know little of "big" Ann…until now. D.B. Gilles has managed to get inside Ann…let me rephrase that. He's managed let his inner Ann out in a most funny and enjoyable piece of political satire to cross my path in a long time. (Bill Maher, eat your heart out…before Ann rips it out.) He's nailed her…let me rephrase that. He's done what everyone wishes they could do -- hit the long, thin nail called Ann Coulter right on the head, several times, and gotten away with it! A fun, funny and fantastic read. Never Trust Ann Coulter. Always Trust D.B. Gilles…to deliver!
It's payback time! I think D.B. Gilles must have
filed away every hostile thing Ann Coulter has ever
mercilessly dished out over the years to throw right
back out there in this yummy parody of the queen of
hatred. Gilles holds back nothing in this dark, funny
and well-crafted spoof. A quick and fun read for anyone
in the anti-Ann Coulter club.
If you like Ann Coulter, this book will offend you--guaranteed. If you are frequently outraged by Ann Coulter, I suspect you will be laughing uncontrollably within the first few pages. This is a finely crafted parody--an unusual term for something as over-the-top as "Never Trust Ann Coulter." If you can't handle strong language, do not read this book. But if you can take it, this is PARODY, highly developed.
